Team Access

Invite your staff team and control what each person can see and do in the dashboard.

Team access lets you bring your moderators, admins, and managers into StaffHQ without giving everyone the same level of control. Roles determine which pages are visible and which actions are permitted. You manage the team from Settings → Team.

Role matrix

There are four roles. Each builds on the previous one.

viewerRead-only access. Can view player profiles, chat logs, punishments, and the staff leaderboard. Cannot issue punishments, change settings, or invite other users.
moderatorEverything a viewer can do, plus the ability to issue bans, kicks, mutes, and warns directly from the dashboard. Cannot access analytics, billing, or team settings.
adminEverything a moderator can do, plus analytics pages, anti-cheat monitoring, Discord bot configuration, and the ability to invite and remove viewers and moderators.
super_adminFull access. Can change subscription settings, rotate plugin API keys, manage all team members including other admins, and delete server connections. Reserved for the server owner.

How to invite someone

Open Settings → Team and click "Invite member". Enter the person's Discord ID or email address and select their role. They will receive an invitation they can accept to create or link their StaffHQ account.

Discord ID is the recommended method for Minecraft server staff because most teams already use Discord. To find a Discord ID, enable Developer Mode in Discord settings, then right-click any user and select "Copy User ID".

Note
Only super_admin and admin accounts can send invitations. Admins can only invite viewers and moderators. Inviting or removing other admins requires super_admin.

Seat limits

The number of team members you can invite depends on your subscription tier. The current seat count is shown at the top of the Team settings page alongside your tier. If you have reached the limit, you will need to remove an existing member or upgrade your plan before sending another invitation.
